The park board acts in an advisory capacity to city council regarding regulations and rules for supervision of the parks, locating and planning park sites, and promoting use of city parks.  Our goal is to provide park and recreation services that are creative, beneficial, and responsive to the needs of the community.

Winlock’s rich history and abundance of natural beauty, along with a strong sense of community spirit and pride are part of what attracts locals and visitors alike.  

The park board is comprised of five members.  Members are appointed by the mayor, subject to approval by the city council.

Meeting Information

Park Board meetings are held the 1st Monday of every month at 10:00am at city hall, 323 N.E. 1st St in council chambers, except on holidays. If that Monday falls on a holiday they will meet the next business day.

The public is invited and encouraged to attend!
