Planning Commission

The planning commission acts in an advisory capacity to the city council regarding preparation and revision of the Comprehensive Plan for adoption, along with review and recommendations on land and planning-related maters to the city council.

The planning commission is comprised of five (5) members.  The five members shall include at least two (2) residents of the city of Winlock and up to three (3) members residing within the boundaries of the Winlock School District. Members are appointed by the Mayor, subject to approval by the City Council.

Meeting Information

Planning Commission meetings are held on the 1st Mondays of every month at 6:00 pm in council chambers at city hall 323 N.E. 1st Street, except on holidays. If that Monday falls on a holiday they will meet the next business day. All meetings are recorded.

The public is invited and encouraged to attend!
